Managed AWS Support · UK

Independent AWS support for UK businesses: ongoing help from a certified AWS engineer.

Your product runs on AWS, but nobody on the team owns the cloud side. KloudCare provides ongoing AWS support for small and growing businesses: monitoring, backups, security, cost control and changes, handled by an independent AWS engineer in your own AWS account.

When you need AWS support

  • Nobody is sure the backups would actually restore
  • The AWS bill keeps growing and nobody has time to look at it
  • Security alerts and AWS notifications go unread
  • Servers and databases are behind on patches and version upgrades
  • Changes to the infrastructure wait until a developer has spare time
  • The person who set up AWS has left, and nobody knows how it works

Managed AWS support services

Monitoring and alerts

Amazon CloudWatch alarms, AWS Health events and budgets, set up for your system and watched.

  • Alerts sent to your team and to us
  • Problems investigated during UK working hours
  • Cost alerts before a bill surprises you

Backups and disaster recovery

AWS Backup plans for your databases, servers and files, checked regularly.

  • Backups verified, not just switched on
  • Regular restore tests
  • A documented recovery plan

Security and patching

A security baseline kept in place and operating systems kept up to date.

  • GuardDuty and Security Hub findings reviewed
  • Patching with AWS Systems Manager on an agreed schedule
  • IAM access, encryption and public access kept in check

Cost control, changes and troubleshooting

Regular reviews of your AWS spend, plus hands-on help when you need it.

  • Monthly cost and usage review with savings to act on
  • Infrastructure changes, Terraform and CI/CD updates
  • Troubleshooting for EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, networking and access

How our AWS support works

Clear hours, clear approvals and nothing hidden. KloudCare is an independent AWS consultancy: this service is separate from, and works alongside, the support plans AWS itself sells.

Support hours

  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm UK time
  • Response times agreed in writing before you start
  • Systems set up to recover on their own where possible, with alerts to your team out of hours

Your account, your control

  • Everything runs in your own AWS account; you pay AWS directly
  • Scoped, logged access you can remove at any time
  • Production changes only with your written approval and a rollback plan

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as an AWS Support plan?

No. AWS sells its own support plans for questions about AWS services. KloudCare is an independent AWS consultancy that looks after your account for you: monitoring, backups, security, cost control and changes. Many businesses use both.

Do you provide 24/7 AWS support?

No. Support is provided Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm UK time. We set up your systems to recover on their own where possible, and alerts outside those hours go straight to your own team.

How much does AWS support cost?

It depends on the size of your environment and the help you need, so it is scoped and priced individually. After a free consultation you receive a written scope with hours, response times and a monthly price before anything starts. AWS charges are never included; you pay AWS directly.

Do you need access to our AWS account?

Yes, through roles in your own account that you control and can remove at any time. We never need your root user or long-term access keys, every action is logged in AWS CloudTrail in your account, and production changes are made only with your written approval.

What happens if we stop the support?

You remove our access and everything keeps running, because it is all in your own AWS account. We hand over the runbook, documentation and any Terraform code so your team or another provider can take over.

Which AWS services do you support?

Common services for small and growing businesses, including EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC networking, IAM, CloudWatch and AWS Backup, plus Terraform and CI/CD pipelines that deploy to AWS.
