1. About us

This website, www.kloudcare.co.uk, is operated by KloudCare Limited ("KloudCare", "we", "us"). KloudCare Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17506352). Registered office: 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF.

By using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Using this website

• The content on this website is general information about KloudCare and its services. It is not professional advice for your specific situation, and it is not an offer, proposal or contract.
• We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, up to date or free from errors, or that it will always be available.
• You must not misuse the website, for example by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code or interfering with its operation.

3. Our services

• Paid work, including AWS Health Checks, AWS Cost Watch, cost optimisation, solutions architecture, DevOps projects and monthly support, starts only after the scope, price, responsibilities and timeline have been agreed and accepted in writing.
• Each service is governed by its own written terms or proposal, such as the Health Check scope and terms, or the Cost Watch terms. If those terms conflict with this page, the written service terms apply.
• Unless agreed otherwise, KloudCare works with read-only access by default and makes no change to your AWS environment without your approval. See our security page.
• We may use carefully selected subcontractors for some work. They are bound by confidentiality, and we will tell you in advance.

4. Pricing and payment

• Prices on this website are in pounds sterling (GBP). Prices marked "from" are starting points. The final price depends on the size and complexity of your environment, urgency and the agreed deliverables, and is confirmed in your proposal.
• If KloudCare is registered for VAT, VAT will be added at the applicable rate and shown on your proposal and invoice.
• Payment terms are set out in your proposal or service terms.
• Health Check fee credit: if you accept a KloudCare proposal for implementation work within 30 days of your Health Check findings session, the Health Check fee is deducted from that work. With AWS Cost Watch or Monthly AWS Support, the credit applies to the first month only. It is capped at the value of that work, is not exchangeable for cash and does not carry forward. The full conditions are in the Health Check terms.
• AWS Cost Watch runs month to month and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
• Any AWS charges in your own account, for example from running the free assessment or from changes you choose to make, are payable by you to AWS.

5. Consultations and bookings

Free consultations and review calls booked through our scheduling page (Calendly) are free and carry no obligation. Please reschedule or cancel through the link in your confirmation email if you cannot attend. Advice given on a free call is general, based on the information available at the time.

6. The free AWS assessment

• The KloudCare AWS assessment tool, its reports, report format, checks and methodology are the property of KloudCare.
• You may run the tool, unmodified, on AWS accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and share its reports within your organisation and with your advisers.
• You may not copy, modify, resell or republish the tool or its reports, use them to provide services to others, or remove KloudCare branding, without our written permission.
• The tool is read-only and runs in your own AWS account. You decide whether to deploy it, and you can remove it at any time by deleting its CloudFormation stack.
• The tool is provided "as is". Its findings reflect your account at the time of the run, and its savings figures are estimates. See the licence included with the tool for the full terms.

7. Estimates and advice

• Savings figures, on this website, in reports or in proposals, are estimates based on list prices and observed usage. They are not guarantees, and they exclude discounts, Savings Plans and Reserved Instances unless stated.
• Recommendations are advice. Before acting on them, check them against your own business needs, test changes outside production and confirm them with the owners of the affected resources. Unless KloudCare carries out a change under an agreed engagement, you are responsible for the changes you make.
• Statistics quoted on this website come from the third-party sources named alongside them.

8. Intellectual property

The content of this website, including text, design, graphics, the KloudCare name and logo, and the assessment tool, belongs to KloudCare or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not copy or reuse the content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Third parties and trademarks

• Amazon Web Services, AWS and related names are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. GitHub, GitLab, HashiCorp, Terraform, Kubernetes and other names belong to their respective owners.
• KloudCare is an independent consultancy and a member of the AWS Partner Network. KloudCare is not endorsed by AWS unless AWS states this in writing.
• This website links to other services, such as Calendly, LinkedIn and Credly. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

10. Liability

• To the extent permitted by law, KloudCare is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the content of this website, or from the website being unavailable.
• Liability for paid services is set out in the written terms for those services.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. The version on this page when you use the website applies.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
